En Jaén, actores sociales de Ecuador y Perú se reunieron en el tercer encuentro para discutir el borrador del diagnóstico de la Cuenca Mayo de Chinchipe. Este evento es clave en el proceso de construcción del Plan Binacional, liderado por la UNJ y el Proyecto Cuidar.
Con la participación de comunidades, gobiernos locales y organizaciones, se avanzó en la planificación de acciones para mejorar la gestión del agua. En los próximos tres meses, se debatirá a nivel territorial en ambos países. Se espera definir una hoja de ruta y establecer el primer Comité Binacional de Cuencas Transfronteriza.
